That's a Wrap 2024!

TLDR: 2024 is somehow wrapping up already and it has been one heck of a year! We are so proud of the amazing clients that we have had the opportunity to work with this year and all of the things that they have accomplished! We are so grateful to have been able to be a part of their journey! We can’t thank you enough for trusting us with your care and with all of your physical therapy and wellness needs! LWL has experienced growth this year as well and we are excited to be able to start offering some new opportunities for you as well! Stay tuned for 2025!

LWL and Dr. Katie are SO grateful for having had the opportunity to work with so many amazing clients again in 2024!  We’ve had the ability to work with people through so many different injuries, post-surgery, pre-surgery, for injury prevention, for sports conditioning, pain management, headache management and so much more.  While we don’t love that you are dealing with these things, we are so grateful that you trust us to be able to help you to feel better!  Here are SOME of the amazing things that our clients have accomplished this year!

Some of the amazing things that our amazing clients have accomplished this year include:

- Running the Boston Marathon!

- Personal records during half marathons and marathons!

- Running back to back half marathons (Saturday and then Sunday)!

- Getting back into a consistent workout routine at the gym WITHOUT PAIN!

- Being able to play with their kids regularly and not have to worry about their back pain slowing them down or not being able to pick up their kids because of their back pain!

- Sleeping through the night without pain and waking up in the morning rested and pain free!

- Getting through their workday without neck pain and back pain and improved posture throughout the day!

- Decreased the frequency of headaches and migraines that they were having!

- Personal records in high school track and cross country!

- Completing their workouts without thinking about if something would hurt or not!

- Decreased difficulty walking after a severe back injury!

- Learning about what their body needs specifically to help them to heal from an injury and pain and help to prevent them from happening again!

- Making the commitment to themselves to focus on improving their health and preventing injuries, and recovering from any previous injuries and pain!

The amount of things that people have done this year is truly incredible. I am always in awe when people are telling me the things that they are now able to do because of the work that they are putting into themselves. As physical therapists, our goal is to help you to live better and to live pain free and prevent injuries and pain and help you to live your life the way you want to, and without fear of those injuries and pain happening. And I LOVE when people come to me telling me all of the things that they can now do because of their dedication and commitment to their physical therapy and wellness journey!  And I can’t express how grateful I really am for being trusted and having the opportunity to help you on your personal health, physical therapy, and wellness journey!

None of these achievements are “better” than the other. They are all equally and truly amazing in their own ways! We all have different goals and we all have different starting points and nobody’s progress is linear! Not everybody wants to run a marathon or run at all! Running a marathon is just as important and just as exciting as being able to play with your kids for the first time without having pain or worrying about pain! We are so proud of you for making the commitment to feeling better and moving better! You are all truly amazing!

Physical therapy is not easy and it takes time and dedication and energy to be able to commit to it and to truly help yourself and let us help you, to be able to reach any goals that you have! I can’t state enough, just how amazing this commitment truly is and how truly proud I am of all of you. I have such respect for you on your journey and the dedication and commitment you have made to yourself on this journey!

In addition to all of the amazing things that you amazing clients have completed and accomplished this year, LWL has also grown! We had the ability and opportunity to move to a new office space on Farmington Avenue this year!  Thank you all for your patience with us during that process (and with the continued process as we figure out some other small bumps in the space as we continue to adjust to our first winter in the building (thank goodness for space heaters!))

In 2025 we cannot wait to be able to continue to grow with you and offer you more of what you want! We will keep you updated on all of the changes that are coming that will continue to help us to provide only the best care at all times!

If you have classes or things that you want to see from LWL in 2025, reach out to us today! We want to know!
